Before your 11-day driving adventure begins you will have plenty of time to explore your start and end city,
Halifax. Visit Citadel Hill, take a boat tour of Halifax harbor, or perhaps drive south to Peggy's cove.
Leave Halifax and travel to the seaport town of Digby where you will stay for the night. The next morning,
take a ferry across the Bay of Fundy to St. John, New Brunswick, before heading to Charlotte town, the
"Birthplace of Canada." Stop by Founders Hall and enjoy a multi-media journey through Canada's history or
head north to Prince Edward Island National Park. Next, take another ferry across the Northumberland Strait
to Cape Breton Island. Explore Cabot Trail, a 185-mile loop around the northern tip of the Island that travels
through charming communities and breathtaking scenery. Drive south back to Halifax and end your trip with
perhaps a relaxing stroll along the historic waterfront, last-minute sightseeing, or fabulous shopping.
